Originally mined in the Himalayas and hand-crafted down to a manageable size, these slabs of salt naturally embedded with trace minerals subtly flavor your food with less salt than when seasoning your food with ground salt! Place right on the grill or gas range to prepare food on, use as a serving board for cheese or sushi, or freeze to serve cold foods!
For cooking, heat salt plate gradually for 30-60 minutes until heated through to it's optimal cooking temperature - between 300 and 400 degrees. Once ready, you may either continue to cook over the heat or carefully remove with heat-resistant gloves (plate will be VERY hot) and place on heat-resistant surface and cook off the heat. The salt plate will retain heat for quiet some time.
Not recommended for oven use.

Care: Salt is naturally antimicrobial and requires no soaps. Simply wash plate under warm water and scrub off debris lightly with soft brush or sponge. Wipe off any extra water before allowing to air dry for at least 24 hours. Store is a cool, dry environment.
