To prepare your salt cone for cooking, heat it gradually either over the lowest flame for grilling or on a lower temperature in the oven. Slowly increase the heat to medium for approximately 30-45 minutes until the cone reaches it's optimal temperature anywhere between 300-400 degrees. When the cone reaches the preferred temperature, use heat resistant gloves (the salt will be REALLY hot) to place your chicken on the cone; then, cook chicken normally according to your recipe!

Care: Salt is a natural antimicrobial, so no soap is required for cleaning! Just run under warm water, scrubbing with a soft brush or sponge. Wipe off any excess water and air dry for 24 hours. Store in dry, cool place.
